Broekhoven, Andrew van
Andrew van Broekhoven completed his physiotherapist training at the University for Applied Sciences of Eindhoven (the Netherlands). He gained initial experience with a general physiotherapy clinic in Munich. Later, he specialised in the rehabilitation of the knee and spine with a renowned clinic. He also gained international experience, practicing conservative and post-operative treatment methods abroad as well.
In 1999, he successfully completed his training to become a manual therapist. During the years that followed, he trained in numerous areas, such as novel treatment techniques, visceral manipulation, craniosacral therapy, and connective tissue techniques.
Since 1999, he has also worked as instructor in manual therapy at the “Bernd Blindow Schule” in Germany.
In 2004, Andrew van Broekhoven became head of the Department for Physiotherapy and Manual Therapy in Rehabilitation of the Spine, and, in 2005, founded the Practice for Physiotherapy and Osteopathic Manual Therapy “Spine Art”.
Andrew van Broekhoven heads the Department for Physiotherapy and Manual Therapy with an independent practice at the Therapy and Rehabilitation Centre of the ATOS Clinic Munich. His team includes internationally trained therapists offering a wide range of treatments. Apart from conservative and rehabilitation physiotherapy, the practice focusses on direct post-operative, physiotherapeutic treatment of patients at the ATOS Clinic Munich. In close cooperation with the treating physicians, individual treatment plans tailored to the patient’s needs are developed ensuring the best therapeutic outcome possible.
